Namaskaar restaurant was the first Indian restaurant in Finland. Namaskaar is also the most widely known and well-established Indian restaurant group in Finland. The first restaurant was established in 1989 and since then it has been voted many times the best ethnic restaurant in Finland. Namaskaar has been seen on many festivals such as Helsingin juhlaviikot, Pori jazz, Kotkan meripäivät, and Kaivarin kesäkonsertit, serving the hungry audiences with tasty food.
